Obituary for Karen Girouard
Karen (Ouellette) Girouard, 55, of Greenville, NH, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, December 7, 2017. She was born on August 6, 1962, in Ashby, MA; the daughter of Kathleen (Kumpu) Ouellette, and Robert Joseph Ouellette II, who predeceased her in 2006.
In the 1990’s and early 2000’s, Karen was a manager at Wendy's in Fitchburg, then in Gardner, MA. Most recently, Karen was employed by K-Mart in Fitchburg prior to it’s closing. In her free time, she adored being outside in nice weather. Her favorite place to vacation was York Beach in York, ME. At home, she was a wonderful cook. Karen was known very well for her culinary skills. Her baking skills (from scratch, of course) were even more well known. She took pride with photo albums of her colorful confectionary creations created with every detail perfect. Beyond all else, she will always be known to help and take care of family, friends and others whenever she could.
