Obituary for Mary M. Maynard
Mary M. Maynard, age 94, of New Ipswich, NH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough, NH. Mary was born on July 1, 1922, in Somerville, MA, to Timothy and Louise Benoiti.
Mary worked for BAE Systems for 25 years as a stenciler. She loved to play cards and was a big bingo fan. Family was very important to her and she adored her grandchildren. She was known to always help a friend in need. Mary was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and the VFW in Hudson, NH. She enjoyed playing the piano and loved swing music. Mary was married to her husband, Leo J. Maynard, for over 50 years.
Mary is survived by her son, Timothy Maynard, of New Ipswich, NH; Kelli Meekins, her special caretaker for the past 6 years; her sisters, Loraine Farmer and Lucy Nocito, both of MA; her brother-in-law, Henry Maynard; two grandchildren, Hannah Yung and her husband, Webster, of Dover, NH, and Jesse Maynard, of Nashua, NH, and her great-grandchild Ethan Yung.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at 10:30am, in St. Louis Cemetery, 752 West Hollis Street, Nashua, NH.
