Daniel A. Garnham, 74, longtime resident of Wilton, died on June 16, 2024, at home.
He was born August 16, 1949, in Nashua, NH to Gerald and Shirley (Dillon) Garnham. He
spent all his younger and schooling years in the town of Milford, graduating in 1968.
When Dan was a teenager, he had been saving money to buy a car, but when 16 hit he
hadn’t saved enough yet, so he bought a guitar instead. He then proceeded to teach
himself to play and played and sang lead in various bands throughout his lifetime. He was
never quite as happy as he was playing music and he passed on this love to his children.
His son joined him in several bands between 2008 and 2013 playing the bass. Those times
were very meaningful to Dan.
Daniel was a proud Vietnam veteran. He married his wife Donna in 1973, they had 51 years
of marriage together until his passing. He was employed by Hendrix wire and cable for
many years. In 1982 they bought a home in Wilton and resided there ever since.
In his later years Dan enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great
grandchildren. He also loved spending time with his siblings, getting together with his
brothers often.
Family members include his loving wife of 51 years Donna Garnham (Grant) of Wilton, NH.
His children Daniel J Garnham of Wilton, NH, Sasha Thompson of Temple NH and
special “bonus” daughter Melinda Mosier of Walpole NH; 8 grandchildren Riley, Dillon,
Jamison, Ella, Kaiden, Brody, Leo and Emma; 3 greatgrandchildren Ryker, Everleigh and
Reya; Brothers Kenneth, Denis and Timothy; sisters Cathy, Nancy, Terri and Cindy. Nieces
and nephews Anne, Jason, Lenny, Becky, Jeffery, Paul, Timothy, Matthew, Benjamin,
Amanda, Nick, Katie, Roger, Hannah, Benjamin, Patrick and Elizabeth.
Family and friends are warmly welcomed to attend calling hours at the Michaud Funeral Home, 32 Maple St. Wilton, NH, on Monday, June 24, 2024, from 5pm-7pm.
