Obituary for Daniel J. Hill
Daniel J. Hill, 67, of Merrimack, NH, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Daniel was born September 27, 1948, in Nashua, NH, the son of Richard and Mary (Mahoney) Hill. Daniel graduated from Alvirne High School in Hudson, NH. He was a member of the NH National Guard. Daniel was an ASC Certified Mechanic and owned and operated Dan Hill’s Service Station in Nashua for many years. Daniel loved the outdoors, especially fishing. He was a car enthusiast who loved NASCAR and was a big fan of Dale Earnhardt. Daniel loved is family, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid gardener who also loved landscaping. Daniel could grow anything. Daniel is survived by his wife of 46 years, Denise Hill, of Merrimack, NH; 2 daughters, Shelley and her husband, Steven Amari, of Merrimack, NH, and Susanne and her husband, Robert Lavoie, of Merrimack, NH; 2 sons, Keith Hill and his wife, Holly, of Nashua, NH, and Benjamin Hill and his wife, Janet, of Merrimack, NH; 6 grandchildren, Lindsay, Nicole, Abby, Nathan, Lilly, and Joshua; and 1 sister, Carol Kelley, of Hudson, NH. He was predeceased by his mother, father and his brother, David Hill. All are warmly invited to a calling hour on Monday, March 7, 2016, from 10:00am to11:00am at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Road, Bedford, NH, 03110, to be followed immediately at 11:00am by a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will take place in the spring. The arrangements are in the care of the Michaud Funeral Home, 32 Maple St., Wilton, NH.
