Obituary for Eldena Rae Lard
Eldena Rae Lard, 61, of Manchester, NH, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, June 16, 2020.
Eldena was born on July 21st, 1958, to James E. Lard & Ernestine P. (Kindberg) Lard, in Springfield, MA. After graduating from Manchester High School in 1976, she went on to study at Salve Regina University where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management.
In addition to being a loving mother, Eldena also loved reading, knitting, crocheting, and doing crossword puzzles. In her free time she loved volunteering at the local soup kitchen or as a Caregiver. She was recently employed at Operation Able where she was an office assistant. She was also a member of the First Congregational Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Quinlan Newton, of Weymouth, MA; and her two grandchildren, Haven and Dawson, who were the highlight of her life; she loved most spending time with them and spoiling them! Nana was the Best! She is also survived by her sisters, Susan Lard, of Garner, NC, and Beth Brule, of Moodus, CT; her nephews, Justin, Casey, Tyler, Thomas and Christopher; and her nieces, Megan and Katie.
Eldena was predeceased by her mother, Ernestine P. (Kindberg) Lard- Forbes; her father, James E. Lard; her brothers, James and Mark Lard; and her niece, Dale-Lyn.
She will be greatly missed by all including several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, other family members and friends.
