Obituary for Heather M. Pries
Heather MacDonald Pries, 78, of Wilton, NH, passed away August 18th, 2020 quietly in her Wilton home. Heather was born May 7th, 1942 in Manchester, NH. She was one of three daughters to Donald & Charlotte (Hunkins) MacDonald and grew up in the town of Auburn. Heather was active with the Second Congregational Church in Wilton, frequently helping out in church fairs and suppers. However, Heather may have been best known among friends and neighbors for the blueberries she and her husband grew and the loyal customers who came from miles around to enjoy the quiet, peace, and conversation. Family includes her husband of 56 years, Walter; two sisters, Gretchen Morse & Debbie Miller; one son, Dwight Pries and his wife; one daughter, Melanie Fortier; and two grandchildren.
Family and friends are warmly welcome to a celebration of life to be held on Friday, August 28, 2020, at 10 am. at the Michaud Funeral Home, 32 Maple St, Wilton, NH, 03086. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Heather's memory to the Nature Conservancy or the Second Congregational Church.
