James M Cuddihy, passed away on January 18, 2017, at Dartmouth Hitchcock in Lebanon NH after a brief illness. Graveside services will be in May date to be announced at a later time. Jim was 70 yrs old and lived most of his life in Wilton on Davisville Rd. Jim is survived by his wife of 37 yrs, Jill E Porter Cuddihy and two children. Daughter and husband, Maryann Cuddihy Hadley and Bruce Hadley, son and wife Kenneth M Cuddihy and Victoria Martin Cuddihy. Jim also leaves behind 5 grandchildren Chris Hadley, Amanda Hadley, Holly Hadley McCoy, Dylan Cuddihy and Tiffany Cuddihy. Also 5 great grandchildren Nicholas, Cameron, Savannah, Jaelyn, and Jameson.
Jim graduated from Wilton High Schools in 1965. He worked for many area companies which include Barretto Granite, Constellation Construction, Kinney Towing, Frost Farms, Quinn Bros, and Pike Industries he made his living as a truck driver and heavy equipment mechanic.
Jim had many interests over his lifetime, hunting, fishing, trapping, snowmobiling and camping just to name a few. Jim and Jill belonged to Wilton Winter Wanderers snowmobiling club for awhile and NH Good Sam NH Wheelers camping club for many years. He also enjoyed woodworking and had a woodworking area in his cellar, where he made many items for his family.
Once Jim retired, he had a Kubota Tractor with many attachments and did various jobs for friends and family. Jim and Jill also became very involved in German Shepherd Rescue of New England, they adopted two German shepherds from this rescue, and went onto volunteer and help many dogs to find new homes.
