Obituary for Jared A Schofield
Jared A. Schofield, 43, of Hollis, NH, passed away after a brief illness, on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at his home. He was born on March 2, 1974, in Nashua, NH, the son of Daniel and Kristin (Johnson) Schofield. Jared lived in Hollis most of his life, and was a graduate of Hollis/Brookline High School. He was proud to follow in his dad’s footsteps, working in the cable business for many years. Jared loved his most recent job as a customer service representative at the Orde Farm in Hollis, NH, where he helped many customers and friends that he grew up with. He was an avid lover of music, and was known to be an extremely talented drummer since the age of three years old. Another love of his was history, especially military history. Jared had participated in many re-enactments throughout the years. Jared was always the jokester, his shenanigans and quips will be missed. He perfected his first song by, The Steve Miller Band, “Take the Money and Run”, by the age of ten. Jared is survived by his mother, Kristin Schofield; his sister, Amanda Schofield McGourty, and her husband, Patrick; his longtime girlfriend, Jess Wood; and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Jared is predeceased by his late wife of five years, Heather Badeau; his father, Daniel Edward Schofield; his grandmothers, Annabelle Johnson and Dorothy Flanagan Schofield; and his grandfathers, Dexter Johnson and Lawrence Schofield. In lieu of flowers the family asks for memorial donations to be made to the K9s for Warriors, tel: 904-686-1956, 114 Camp K9 Road, Ponte Vedra, FL. 32081 There will be a get together/memorial, Wednesday, December 6, 2017, from 5pm-10pm, at the Pasta Loft in Milford, NH. Family and friends are all welcome to attend.
