Jill E. Cuddihy, 62, of Wilton, NH, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018, at the Community Hospice House, in Merrimack, NH. She was born on July 30, 1956, in Nashua, NH, the daughter of Donald Porter and Audrey (Foster) Hooper.
Jill worked as a re-roller at Label Arts for the past 32 years. She married the love of her life and late husband, James (Jim) Cuddihy, on December 1, 1979. She studied secretarial science at Husson College in Bangor, ME. Jill was the adoption coordinator for the German Shepherd Rescue of New England. She enjoyed doing Christmas crafts, making pillows and sewing. She adored spending time with family and especially her grandchildren. She loved to camp and spend time around the campfire with Jim, and was president of the Good Sams Camping Club. She was also part of the Wilton Wanderers Snowmobile Club.
Jill is survived by her son, Ken Cuddihy and his wife, Victoria, of Wilton, NH; her daughter, MaryAnn Hadley and her husband, Bruce, of Wilton, NH; her brother, Michael Porter, of Bradenton, FL; her sisters, Laurie Lessard and her husband, Mike, of Milford, NH, and Debbie Maciorowski and her husband, Robert, of Lyndeborough, NH; her grandchildren, Christopher Hadley, Amanda Hadley, Holly McCoy and her husband, Bill, Dylan Cuddihy, and Tiffany Cuddihy; and her great-grandchildren, Nicholas Hadley, Cameron Hadley, Savannah Brown, Jaelyn Brown, and Jameson McCoy. She is predeceased by her husband of 37 years, James Cuddihy, her father, Donald Porter, and her sister-in-law, Barbara Porter.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial donations to be made in Jill’s name to the German Shepherd Rescue of New England, PO Box 299, Weyland, MA, 01887.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018, at 10:30am, at the Laurel Hill Cemetery, in Wilton, NH.
