Obituary for Joseph Stanvick
Joseph William Stanvick, age 74,of Amherst, NH, passed away on September 12, 2017, in Merrimack, NH.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Andrea R. (Marquis) Stanvick, of Amherst, NH; his son, David J. Stanvick, of Amherst, NH; his daughter and son-in-law, Susan L. (Stanvick) Diminico and Mark R. Diminico, of Norton, VT; his sister, Loretta (Stanvick) Wieman of Hull, MA; and his brothers, Stephen Stanvick of Biddeford Pool, ME and Kenneth Stanvick of Pelham, NH. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Anna Stanvick, of Haverhill, MA.

Joseph was born on June 14, 1943 in Danbury, CT.. Upon earning his degree from the Wentworth Institute of Technology, he began his professional career at the Northeastern Tool Company in Ward Hill, MA. While at Northeastern Tool, Joseph was instrumental in the creation of their newly formed engineering division. Joseph continued his professional career at The Raytheon Company where he was the Manager of Advanced Planning and Program Control of the Missile Systems Division. He retired in 1998 after having worked for The Raytheon Company for more than two decades.

Joseph was an avid outdoorsman enjoying both hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed woodworking in his free time and crafted many pieces of fine furniture.

Arrangements: Following Joseph’s wishes, memorial services are private. His ashes will be scattered at sea. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Community Hospice House of Merrimack, New Hampshire.
