Obituary for Kristin J Schofield
Kristen J. Schofield, of Hollis, NH, 69 years young, passed peacefully at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, on Sunday, September 1, 2019, after a long illness. Krissie, aka “Mommy”, was a loving soul who would help anyone in need. She was a homemaker, who at age 40 decided to go to nursing school, caring for the elderly and others in times of sickness. She had special relationships with friends and her own children who thought of her dearly. Everyone loved looking forward to her unique gift- of giving “something” for everyone on special occasions. Kristen is survived by her daughter, Amanda Schofield and her husband, Patrick McGourty, of Milford, NH; her adopted son, Tommy Spence, of VT; her sister Katrin J. Armstrong and her husband, Mark, of Hudson, NH; her brothers, Kelley C. Johnson, of Hamden, MA, and Karl D. Johnson and his wife, Chris, of Monroe, NH; her brother-in-law Paul Bosquet, of NH; her special cousin Sybil Spence Rocca and her husband, Ted, of TN; as well as many beloved nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother Annabelle Spence Johnson and her father Dexter Johnson, her husband Daniel E. Schofield, of 25 years, her son Jared Schofield, her niece Betsy Klardie, her sister Karen Johnson Bosquet, and her longtime companion John Thibeault.
