Obituary for Pamela Angus-Harrison
Pamela Jayne Angus-Harrison, 62. She was born to Robert G Angus and Dorothy A Fillmore in Norwood, Massachusetts on October 26, 1959. She married James Harrison on September 27, 1986, and they lived together in Dublin, New Hampshire. Together they raised one child, Caitlin Harrison of New Tripoli Pennsylvania.
Pam graduated from Concord High School. In Concord New Hampshire in 1977 and attended Keene State College. Pam lived with cancer for more than three years; her spirit burned brightly and with abundant grace until the end. Horsewoman, artist, lover of light, of nature, of truth. PJ went into all things with a clear and creative eye toward completion, with her mind focused and her heart committed to doing things just so. She did not hold back nor hesitate, as it was her nature to be generous of spirit. She was tender and compassionate towards those in trouble.
Reader, writer, poet, traveler, bee keeper, gardener, photographer. Lover of trees, mountains, and stars. Pam cofounded along with partner Kathy Lang, Beckys Gift Equine Relief. An equine rescue charitable organization to aid horses and their humans during difficult times. PJ kept the welfare of living things forefront in her heart. She had inherent decency and of being non judgmental. She was undeterred when defending what was right. For Beckys Gift- and the many that have been helped by its existence it meant success many times over.
Generous, supportive, funny, smart, creative, loving, devoted, trusting, kind. Pam leaves behind James Harrison, her husband of 35 years and friend since seventh grade, her daughter Caitlin L Harrison and son-in-law Eric E Frick, her sister Marilyn Lovejoy of Concord NH, David Angus of Concord NH, Bonnie Osgood and partner Doug Milbury of Fort Myers Fl. Pam leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. Pam is predeceased by her parents and her brother Robert L Angus. And a much loved nephew Kody A Osgood. Pam you will be profoundly missed and long remembered, with abiding love, always.
A three day vigil was held at the Harrison home in Dublin. Followed by cremation. A funeral will be held at La Belle Winery in Amherst NH on April 12th at 11:00. Officiant Rev. Jamie Hamilton, retired rector of All Saints Church Peterborough NH. Directly following will be a celebration of life. A huge thank you to the entire team at Threshold Care for the amazing support, love, and caring that was shown to Pam during her dying process.
