Obituary for Patricia A Greene
Patricia Ann Greene, 81, of Mason, NH, died April 24, 2017, at her home with her husband and nieces by her side. She was born June 28, 1935, the daughter of James and Mildred (Neil) Connors. She lived in Fall River, MA, and attended school in Stoughton, MA.
Patricia loved dogs and owned and operated the Cranberry Hwy. Pet Village for 15 years. She and her husband Kenneth were married on July 29, 1969. They moved to Mason, NH, in 1986, where together they owned and operated a kennel for St. Bernard dogs. For 48 years they raised one of the most respected breeds of dog. Their bloodline still survives. Patricia had a brilliant mind. She received her degree in accounting from Hesser College, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She was given her diploma at graduation from then-Governor Steven Merrill. Following her graduation, she was hired by Hesser College as their internal auditor until her retirement. She was the Town of Mason’s auditor for 5 years. Patricia then gave her time to mediate in family court. She served on the Milford Conversation Committee, and was a public notary. Patricia loved to dance. She and her husband were members of the Wolf Rockers square dance club for 30 years. She loved the time she spent with her family and the holidays. Patricia loved her flower and vegetable gardens. She had a great connection with nature. There were deer on their property that she made friends with. And the deer would look for her in the front window of her home where she could see them after she could no longer go outside.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Kenneth E. Greene, and many nieces and nephews. Patricia was predeceased by her daughter, Mary Agnus Greene, and a brother, James Connors, Jr.
