Richard G. Pratt, 82, of Milford, NH passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022. He was born April 20, 1940, in Buckland, MA to parents Ernest G. and Winifred “Louise” (Noyes) Pratt.
Richard served in the U.S Army then went on to work many jobs over the years. He was a police officer in Milford for 15 years, then went on to work as a police officer in Hollis. He was also a member of the Hollis Fire Department. His last job was working at the transfer station in Amherst. In his free time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and had belonged to the Blue Knights Motorcycle Group. He was also a member of his local VFW. He liked being outdoors and when he was younger, enjoyed hunting. He would often go to Dunkin Donuts with his friends to socialize and loved eating at Joey’s Diner in Amherst.
Richard is survived by his daughters Robin Morin, Rita Bailey, Roseann Chartier and her husband Joseph, Rebecca Case and her husband Douglas; his sons Robert Pratt and his wife Debbie, Russell Pratt, Raymond Pratt and his wife Debbie; his sister Dee Denny; 24 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his wife Jacqueline Pratt, who passed in 2018 and his brother Ernest E. Pratt.
Family and friends are warmly welcomed to attend calling hours at the Michaud Funeral home, 32 Maple St Wilton, NH on Friday, November 11, 2022, from 4pm-7pm. A burial will be held at East Cemetery in Hollis in the spring.
