Obituary for Richard John Cahill
Richard John Cahill, husband of Beth (Garrison) Cahill of Wilton, NH, passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family, into the loving arms of his Father in Heaven, on June 21, 2019.

Richard was born in Portland, ME, on September 7, 1932, the son of the late Harold and Agnes (Murphy) Cahill. He was predeceased by his brothers; Frank and Joe, and his sister, Catherine McDonald.

He spent his early years growing up in Maine, Massachusetts, then Connecticut, before serving his country in the US Air Force during the Korean War. After graduating from the University Of Hartford School Of Business with a Bachelor of Science Degree, he resided in Connecticut, being employed at Bristol General Hospital, illustrating; then New Britain Ball Bearing Co, and Eastford Building and Supply Company. He enjoyed woodworking, woodcarving, and building furniture. Collecting stamps and watching the Boston Red Sox were his favorite pastimes.

A service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at 2:30pm, in the chapel of the New Hampshire State Veteran’s Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH, 03303.
