Obituary for Richard R. Lacroix Jr.
Richard R. Lacroix Jr., 48, of Greenville, NH, passed away unexpectedly on July 25, 2021. He was born January 6, 1973, in Peterborough, NH to parents Richard and Theresa (Miller) Lacroix.
Richard graduated from Mascenic High School as a part of the class of 1992. He went on to work as a truck driver for Granite State Concrete. He was also a volunteer firefighter for the town of Greenville for many years. In his free time, Richard liked to go fishing, ride ATVs, go hiking, and enjoyed gardening. He was a big football fan, with the Patriots being his favorite team to watch. He loved old western movies and Star Wars, so much so, the license plate on his car was “Chewy”. He loved building models and racing his little RC cars. He loved doing impressions of cartoon characters to make everyone laugh. Family was very important to Richard, including his two cats Bootsie and Snook who he loved and cared for greatly. He loved his family, and he was always there for them. Richard is survived by his wife Elisa (Nuryana) Fitzgerald of Greenville, NH; his parents Richard and Theresa Lacroix of New Ipswich, NH; his stepdaughter Jasmine Fitzgerald of Greenville, NH; his sisters Tammy Benoit of Manchester, NH, Laurette Lacroix of NC, Sheila Lacroix of New Ipswich, NH.
Family and friends are warmly welcomed to attend calling hours at the Michaud Funeral Home, 32 Maple Street Wilton, NH, on Thursday July 29, from 5 pm-7 pm. A mass will be held on Friday July 30 at 11 am at Sacred Heart Church in Greenville, NH. A burial will be held on Saturday July 31, at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Cemetery in New Ipswich, NH.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in Richard’s name to Kitty Rescue & Adoption, 11 Plantation Road Jaffrey, NH.
