Obituary for Robert W Huard Sr
Robert W. Huard Sr, 88, of Greenville, NH, passed away, on Friday, December 13, 2019, in Boston, MA. He was born on March 19, 1931, in Nashua, NH, the son of Alfred and Catherine (Young) Huard.
Robert worked as a Carpenter and Maintenance professional for BAE Systems, in Nashua, NH, for 21 years. He married his wife of 65 years, Nellie (Cheney) Huard, on January 19, 1954. Robert loved his children and grandchildren; his family was his world. He enjoyed camping, and Sunday drives to the mountains and lakes every weekend.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Nellie Huard, of Greenville, NH, and their 11 children. His sister, Shirley Lucier, of Amherst, NH, his 15 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his brother, William J. Huard, his sisters, Mary Lucier and Agnes Farris, and his grandchild Damon Robert Huard.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial donations to be made in Robert’s name, to the Nashua Humane Society, 24 Ferry Rd, Nashua, NH, 03064.
Family and friends are warmly welcomed to calling hours, on Sunday, December 15, 2019, from 1pm-3pm, at the Michaud Funeral Home, 32 Maple St, Wilton, NH, 03086, with a service to follow.
