Roger W. Pelchat, 81, of Deering, NH, passed away on Thursday August 29, 2024. He was born January 18, 1943, in Milford, NH, to parents Alfred and Regina Pelchat. He was the youngest of 11 children.
Roger worked several jobs over the years, working as a part time Police Officer in Wilton, NH for several years and for Hendrix Wire and Cable in Milford, NH in their shipping department. In his retirement in FL, he had a side business mowing the lawns in his community. Roger was a jack of all trades but a master of none. He enjoyed “puttering” around the house. When he was younger, he enjoyed taking apart small engines and putting them back together. Roger and his wife Sandra had a tagalong camper for many years and made many friends camping at various campsites. In his free time, he enjoyed watching basketball and classic western movies.
He is survived by his sons Randy Pelchat and his wife Linda, Sandy Joe Pelchat and his wife Cheryl; his daughter Tracy Vest and her husband John; his grandchildren Jennifer, Christopher, Matt, Darren, Mike, Karoline, Regina; his great-grandchildren T-Ray, Emmy, Henry, Kennedy, Dominic, Ariana.
He is predeceased by his wife Sandra Pelchat of 59 years who passed in 2023.
A service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Monadnock Humane Society in Swanzey, NH.
