Simona Nicole Snedaker, 18, of Wilton, departed this world on January 31, 2024. Simona was born on April 18, 2005 in Bryn Mawr, PA and was raised in Nashua and Wilton, NH.
She is mourned by her parents Amy Snedaker-Hamilton, Svetlana Yanushkevich, David Gregory, and Richard Hamilton. Simona was loved and admired by her younger sisters Nadia Yanushkevich, Tara Hamilton, Molly Hamilton, Elise Gregory, Emma Gregory and Taylor Gregory. She is also survived by her grandparents Nancy Fuller and Bill Fuller, Maria Gregory,
and Carl and Teresa Snedaker; and her aunts Sarah Fuller, Melyssa Fuller, and Emily Shepard; and uncles Joshua Fuller, Kenneth Gregory, and Luke Gregory; as well as many cousins.
Simona was predeceased by her grandmother Klavdia Yanushkevich, and her great-grandparents, Harry and Kathleen Mattimore.
Simona was a beautiful, creative, and passionate young woman, and is affectionately remembered for her strong will, free-spirited nature, and quirky sense of humor. She spent much time with her pets, including her beloved cat Pasha, her many hermit crabs, and collection of exotic insects. Simona had a deep connection to animals and nature, spending much time outdoors: where throughout her childhood she loved to catch insects, amphibians, and reptiles; swim and explore in the woods, garden, and escape to rest and listen to music under her favorite trees. She was an artist; sharing her gifts through painting, knitting, and sculpture. She was an avid reader of nonfiction, classic fiction, and the Bible. She loved to play board games with her family, and always had a Mad Libs book for endless late-night laughs.
Simona worked at the Dunkin Donuts in Milford during her time as a student at Wilton- Lyndeborough Cooperative High School, and was living in Plymouth NH with her boyfriend Corey Bixby and working as a Doordash deliver driver at the time of her death.
Those whose lives she touched and left behind will heal, but they will never be the same.
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. - Psalm 34:18
