Obituary for Theodore V. Waterman
Theodore “Ted” V. Waterman Jr., 58, of Wilton, NH passed peacefully at home with his family at his side on Sunday April 17, 2022. Ted was born June 11, 1963, in Nashua, NH to parents Theodore Waterman Sr. and Martha Philbrick.
Ted served on both the Wilton-Lyndeborough ambulance (10 years) and Lyndeborough fire department (32 years). He started as a firefighter and retired as assistant chief. Ted enjoyed many hobbies – working in his vegetable garden, hunting, fishing, making his own pepper jelly (he liked it hot!), woodworking, camping, playing horseshoes, corn hole, and playing Blackjack. Ted was all about his family, reffing and umping for his daughter's sports, sitting around a campfire with friends, cooking big breakfasts and barbecues of smoked meats and grilling for everyone. Ted enjoyed family vacations at Hampton beach, cruises and camping, he also loved putting on a good fireworks show.
Ted is survived by his loving wife of 36 ½ years Robin Waterman of Wilton, NH; his daughters Shannon Waterman and partner Ryan Scanlon of Tilton, NH; Alycia McQuade and husband Ryan of Alton, NH; Jillian Nguyen and husband Alex of Wilton, NH; his mother Martha Philbrick of Wilton, NH; sisters, Jill Clark and husband Curtis of Stokes, NC; Lynne Rocca and husband Ken of Wilton, NH; Donna McGettigan and husband Dale of Wilton, NH; brother Dana Philbrick of Berwick, ME; nieces, Amanda, Ali, Hannah, Kayla, Emily, Jessica, Olivia; nephews, Kevin, Owen, Evan, Jake; as well as his five “Grand-pups”. He is predeceased by his father Ted Sr and brother Timothy Waterman.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Hampshire State Firemen’s Association.
Family and friends are warmly welcomed to attend calling hours at the Michaud Funeral Home, 32 Maple St Wilton, NH on Friday April 29, from 5pm-8pm. A private burial will be held at Vale End Cemetery in Wilton, NH.
