Obituary for Walter H Williams
Walter H. Williams, 81, of Milford NH, passed away at the Elms Center in Milford on Thursday, August 22, 2019, surrounded by family and friends. He was born on October 22, 1937, in Goffstown, NH, the son of Walter S. and Vesta “Betty” (Salisbury) Williams.
Walter served in the US Marine Corp from February 1956 to March 1958. He drove trucks most all his life. When he wasn’t working he would be spending time with his family and friends having get togethers and hayrides and sometimes maybe do a little fishing. Walter owned horses most all of his life and he could be seen at the fairgrounds competing in a horse pulling contest or pulling a cannon in a parade or giving hayrides.
He was a loving husband, wonderful father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. Walter is survived by his daughter Suzanne Troyer and her husband Ron, Brenda Kelley and her husband Ray, Stanley Williams and his wife Sue, Bette Pinto and her husband Greg, Walter Williams and his wife Shaina, his step daughter Shannon Silvia and her husband Todd, his stepson Jeff Riley, 11 grandchildren, 2 stepchildren, 4 great grandchildren, a sister Sandy Lahey and her husband Barry, a brother Roger Williams and his wife Liz, an uncle Calvin “Burt” Williams and his wife Lois and many extended family members. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 30 years, Charlotte “Cookie” Williams, brothers Robert Williams and Leon Williams and a sister Virginia “Ginny” White.

All are welcome to calling hours at the Michaud Funeral Home, 32 Maple St, Wilton, NH 03086, on Saturday, September 7, 2019, from 10am-12pm. Graveside services will be private.
