Obituary for Salee Yordkum
Salee Yordkum 86, of Wilton, NH, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 29th 2020.
She was born in Mae Nam, Thailand on January 1st 1934. Salee had 11 children and lived in Thailand until the age of 49 before immigrating to the United States in April of 1983. She resided in Lowell, MA and worked at Price Spaghetti factory until her retirement in 1992. She was a devoted mother who brought most of her children to America to experience a new life with her. Salee loved preparing authentic Thai food and spending time with her family and grandchildren the most. She enjoyed Thai theatre and comedy shows and was an avid animal lover. The unconditional love she had for her family knew no bounds. She was a true care giver to all and will be missed immensely by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Her legacy of love lives on through all of her children, Chaleouy Boonsong of Chiang Mai, Thailand; Wanpen Cox of Kearney, MO; Yupin Ouellete of Wilton, NH; Nipon Yordkum of Yasothon, Thailand; Supoj Yordkum of Lowell, MA; Napa Yordkum of Thakli, Thailand; Samphan Yordkum of Lowell, MA; Sriprai Yorkdum of Lowell, MA; Petchnamphung Yordkum of North Providence, RI; Lampung Mulligan of Bow, NH and Pison Yordkum of Nakhon Sawan, Thailand. Salee is also survived by 21 grandchildren and numerous great grand-children.
A service of remembrance is scheduled for Thursday, March 5th at Michaud Funeral Home in Wilton, NH between the hours of 9-11 AM. Condolences may be offered at that time.
