Obituary for Theresa M. Martel
Theresa M. Martel, 87, of Milford, NH passed peacefully on Monday, October 26, 2020, at the Crestwood Nursing Home, Milford, NH. She was born January 6, 1933 in Winchendon, MA to parents Charles and Marie (Roy) Beletete. Theresa was known most for her love for her family. She left school in 9th grade to care for her siblings. She went on to marry the love of her life Paul Martel on April 16, 1955 and they lived a happy life together until his passing in 1997. She worked as an assembler at St. Gobain Ignitor Products in Milford, while also raising her family. In her free time she liked to make hook rugs and could always be found watching Judge Judy on TV. Theresa loved everybody no matter what, especially her family; she was the best mom anyone could have asked for. Theresa is survived by her sons James F. Martel, Larry D. Martel; her daughter Kathleen Smith; her grandchildren Brandon M. Smith and William S. Smith; her great grandchildren Parker F. Smith, Noah M. Smith, and Lily M. Smith. She is predeceased by her husband Paul Martel and her son Paul R. Martel Jr. Family and friends are warmly welcomed to attend calling hours at The Michaud Funeral Home, 32 Maple Street Wilton, NH, on Friday, October 30, 2020 from 5-8 pm. Services will beheld at Michaud Funeral Home Saturday morning at 11 am, followed by a burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Wilton, NH. We kindly ask that anyone in attendance please wear a mask and follow all social distancing guidelines.
