Obituary for Ernest T. Whitney Sr.
Ernest T. Whitney Sr., 74, of Wilton, NH, passed unexpectedly on August 7, 2021. He was born December 15, 1946, in Wilton, NH to parents Edgar and Edna Whitney. Ernest loved everything about the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping whenever he could. He loved to go to yard sales as well to see what he could find. Baseball was his favorite sport to watch, and he was a big Red Sox fan. Family was very important to him, and he enjoyed anytime that could be spent together. He is survived by his three sons Ernest T. Whitney Jr. of Wilton, NH, James E. Whitney and his wife Jeannie of WI, Wesley E. Whitney and Luzia of Wilton, NH, Mark Brouillet and Heather Bouchard of Weare, NH; his daughter Paula Leonard and her husband Ed of Manchester, NH; his grandchildren James and Cody Whitney, Michael Gilbert, Angelina, Leah, and Ali; and his longtime friend Mary Brouillet. Family and friends are warmly welcomed to attend calling hours at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Abbott Hill Rd in Wilton, NH, on Saturday August 14, 2021, at 10 am followed by a graveside service at 11:45.
