Obituary for Thomas J. Shoulla
Thomas J. Shoulla, 70, of Ridgewood Center Bedford, NH, began his journey to Heaven peacefully on Wednesday, August 30th, 2017 at 2:00am.
Thomas was raised and educated in Quincy, Massachusetts. He graduated Quincy High School in 1967 and married the love of his life, Catherine M. Coletti. He then dedicated the next ten years of his life serving our country in the United States Air Force, from 1967-1978. Thomas helped conduct search and rescue operations during the Vietnam War. Over these years, Thomas and his growing family were stationed in Japan, where his son Raymond was born, New York, where he had a daughter Tracy, they then lived in Guam. He then ended his military career in California where his daughter Jillian was born.
Over the next 39 years of life Thomas had a successful career in marketing and sales. He was able to travel the world. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, getting lost in the woods, exploring, and sharing all his adventures with his children and later his grandchildren; with whom he gave "The best squishy hugs" and the best years of his life to. He briefly moved to Arizona and enjoyed gold mining, and exploring old abandoned Ghost towns until he fell ill in 2007, and came home to live and be cared for by his devoted and faithful daughter Jillian and her four children whom he would spend the rest of his days with. Thomas is survived by his grandchildren; Olivia Raquel Trader, Hannah Gabrielle Trader, Matthew Thomas Trader, and Ryan Chase Trader. He is also survived by a son and daughter and their children and great-grandchildren.
Thomas is also survived by The Sullivans, whom have always been a strong loving force that we are grateful came into our lives. The love and support they have given us over the last 27 years has been boundless.
A small private service will be held on September 10th, 2017.
