Obituary for Robert P. Berube
Robert P. Berube (Bob), 67, New Ipswich, NH - formerly of Lowell, MA, passed away August 29, 2018 at the Merrimack NH Hospice House, surrounded by his loving family and friends after a battle with cancer. Bob was born on December 17, 1950 in Lowell, MA. He was the son of the late Henry G. and Audrey T. (Johnsen) Berube. Bob attended Lowell schools, joined the Navy during the Vietnam War, and worked as a truck driver until his retirement in 2018.

Bob is survived by his wife of 16 years, Somboon (Paew) Berube; three daughters Brenda McDonough and her husband Kevin of Allenstown, NH; Deborah Groulx and her husband Daniel of Allentown, NH; and Nicole Berube of Lowell, MA. Bob is also survived by two sisters Linda Dudley and her husband Chris of Merrimack, NH; and Gina Berube of Lowell, MA. One brother Theodore Berube of Manchester, NH; and predeceased by his sister Laurie Berube. Bob leaves 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; many cousins; aunts and uncle; many friends and especially a close friend Steve Gath. Bob was an avid Red Sox and Patriots Fan and enjoyed ice fishing and hunting. There are no visiting hours at his request, a burial is set at a later date.
