Obituary for Debra J. (Russell) Washington
Debra J Washington, 56, of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH on May 17, 2017. She was born in Nashua, NH on May 28, 1960, daughter of John and Carol (Plante) Russell.
Debra was a caregiver for many years at the Nashua Center, concurrently she also worked at Ancient Moon in Nashua, NH for many years. Debbie was a very spiritual person and also enjoyed gardening, making jewelry, and pondering the greater mysteries of life over the occasional glass of wine. By far her most treasured legacy was her family impact, specifically her grandchildren, whom she loved unconditionally.
Debra is survived by her father and step-mother, John and Janice Russell of Hudson, N.H. and her mother Carol Desrosiers of Brownsville, VT. She is survived by her son, Joshua Russell of Laconia, NH and her daughter, Jennifer and husband, Tereso Ramos of Nashua, NH. Debbie is also survived by her 2 brothers and their spouses, Timothy and Alicen Twardosky of Loudon N.H. and Steven and Carolyn Twardosky of Palm Bay , Fl. and her sister, Trisha Jamba of Greenfield, N.H. Debra is survived by four step brothers Michael, Adam, and Andrew Desrosiers and Harold Russell and two step-sisters, Molly Desrosiers and Karen Klos. Debra is predeceased her brother Joey Twardosky and her step-father Norbert (Norby) Desrosiers. Debra was blessed with 7 grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as “Daboo”, Hannah Russell, Autumn Russell, Joshua Russell Jr., Nadia Mezquite, Cristian Ramos, JJ Ramos, and Stephane Carreon.
