Joanne L. Masson, 69, of Greenville, NH, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022. She was born in Fort Devens, MA to parents Richard and Gloria Brown.
Joanne graduated from Chelmsford High School in the class of 1971. She went on to work as an LNA and at Hitchiners in Milford. She married her husband Robert, June 4, 1972, and they recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. Joanne liked to go camping across New England and enjoyed going to the beach. Her favorite was Old Orchard Beach in Maine. She also liked to go fishing. She loved to do crafting, especially crocheting, and sewing. She enjoyed traveling, and would often go to Pigeon Forge, TN and was involved with the North American Country Music Association. She loved her family, and most of all enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Joanne is survived by her loving husband Robert Masson of Greenville, NH; her daughter Beth White and her husband Robert of Greenville, NH; her brothers Derek Brown and his wife Christine of Greenville, NH, Michael Brown of Greenville, NH; her sister Marlene Johnson of Claremont, NH; her grandchildren Laura Larouche, Amanda Masson, Caitlyn Watson, Benjamen Allison, Jonathan Larouche, Lily Larouche, Katie Hurley, and Adeline White; and her great grandchild Julian Watson.
She is predeceased by her daughter Jennifer Hurley.
Family and friends are warmly welcomed to attend calling hours at the Michaud Funeral Home, 32 Maple St, Wilton, NH on Friday November 25, 2022, from 10am-12pm. A service will be held at 12pm. A graveside service will be held immediately after at the Pleasant St Cemetery in Greenville, NH.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in Joanne’s name to the American Cancer Society.
