Obituary for Judith W. Sherman
Judith Wiljanen Sherman, 70, of Greenfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on October 14, 2016 in Jaffrey.
A private memorial service was held by her immediate family on October 24, 2016 according to Judith’s wishes.
Judith was born in Groton, MA to Ebba and William Wiljanen, of West Townsend, MA on September 18, 1946. She went to high school at North Middlesex Regional and graduated in 1964. She had a love of trees, birds and the ocean throughout her life. Her happiest moments were as a mother and grandmother. In recent years she enjoyed travelling to visit her family in England, Florida and Michigan.
Judith is preceded in death by her husband Brad Sherman, her mother Ebba, her father William, her sister Nancy Guyette, her brother William Wiljanen, and her sister Linda Johnson.
Judith is survived by her son, Shawn Condra and his wife Sally of Lyndhurst, England, her son, David Condra and his wife Clare of Marathon, FL, her son, Kevin Condra and his wife Deanette of Brooklyn, MI, her daughter Heather Damata and her husband Mark of Hancock, NH, grandchildren Poppy, Kasey, Lenny, Charlie and Lydia.
Memorial donations may be made to Boston University School of Medicine Amyloid Research Fund.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Good Shepherd Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Jaffrey.
