Obituary for Marie Elizabeth Foisy
Marie “Windy” Elizabeth Foisy, 80, of Hudson, NH, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018, at the Community Hospice House, in Merrimack, NH, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 22, 1938, in Hudson, MA, the daughter of James and Yvonne (Jusseaume) McQuade.
Marie married the love of her life, Roger “Red” Foisy, on October 13, 1956. She was a long time member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Hudson Congregation. Marie was born during the infamous 1938 hurricane in Hudson, MA. Her doctor walked through the hurricane, and had to deliver her by lantern light. She loved the outdoors, pets and flowers. Marie enjoyed traveling coast to coast, and Canada to Mexico. She adored her grand-dogs, all kinds of music, working with yarn and reading to children. She was known to be the best family cook and baker. Her biggest chore in life was putting up with her husband, Red. Her and her husband had a wonderful 62 years together. She will be missed by many.
Marie is survived by her husband, Roger Foisy, of Hudson, NH. Her son, Roger M. Foisy, of Boston, MA. Her daughters; Paula Lavoie and her husband Leonard, of North Carolina, Kim Higgins, of Hudson, NH, Jodi Holt and her husband Rick, of Milford, NH, Amy McMullen of Hudson, NH, Laurie Johnson and her husband Kurt, of Hudson, NH, Marie Devin and her husband Rodney, of Hudson NH. Her son in law, Brian McMullen and John Desclos of Hudson, NH. Her grandchildren; Jason, Nichole, Sara, Stacy, Katie, Stephanie, Lacey, Lindsay, Erin, Ian, Elijah, Liam, Riley. She is also survived by her eleven great grandchildren.

Friends and family are warmly welcomed to a service at the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 128 Greeley St, Hudson, NH 03051, on Friday, December 21, 2018, at 7pm.
