Obituary for Morris Avery
Morris Ross Avery, 83, of Nashua, NH, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018, at the Community Hospice House, in Merrimack, NH. He was born July 23, 1934, in Thetford Center, VT, the son of Dorance and Ermina (Berry) Avery.
Morris worked in various foundries and factories before retiring from Hitchiner Manufacturing. He loved his family and being with them more than anything . Morris enjoyed driving the back roads, visiting old cemeteries and historical buildings, and stopping at any diner he found. Morris never met a stranger, he would become friends with anyone he encountered. He will be remembered for his wicked sense of humor and delight in pulling pranks on the unsuspecting.
Morris is survived by his son, Jeffrey Avery, of Milford, NH; his daughters, Tina Avery, of Milford, NH, and Michelle Douston and her husband, Steve, of Jaffrey, NH; his grandchildren, Brad Douston and his wife, Sarah, of Jaffrey, NH, Lee (Douston) Rocca and her husband, Jon, of Wilton, NH; his great-grandchildren, Joshua, Logan, and Wyatt Rocca; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his infant son, Michael Avery; his brothers, Wendell and Dexter Avery and his sisters, Lorraine, Madeline, Marjorie, and Gloria.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial donations to be made to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd, Merrimack, NH.
