Tristan James Vassar, age 39, passed away suddenly on October 9th, 2022. Tristan was born on April 1st, 1983 in Nashua, NH. Tristan is survived by his son Max, age 6, parents Richard and Diane Vassar, sister Holly Vassar-Smith, her husband Derek, niece and nephew Lily and Miles Smith, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Tristan was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Wayne and Norma Stinson, paternal grandparents James and Louise Vassar, and brother Christopher Vassar.
Tristan lived and worked in Milford, NH for most of his adult life. He was a fixture at Amigos Mexican Cantina for 16 years, whether it be sweating over the stoves in his red bandanna, welcoming people, or shaking up margaritas. Tristan was loved by everyone who met him. He was a kind and loyal friend who had a special way of brightening up any room with his infectious cackle of laughter and making people smile on the worst of days.
Tristan was known by family and friends for his quick (often inappropriate) humor and unique charisma, Tristan loved spending time with his son Max, whether it be going fishing, hunting dinosaurs in the yard, or just goofing around. When Tristan and Max were together the house was full of laughter.
Please join his family in a Celebration of Life at the Brookline Event Center, 32 Proctor Hill Rd Brookline NH, on Sunday November 6, from 11-3.
